Education/Training

Ashtanga-based Vinyasa, 300 hour Yoga Teacher Training at Breathe Yoga Studio, Toronto (2010)

Yoga for Runners 40 hour teacher training with Christine Felstead. (2012)

Restorative Yoga Teacher Training 40 hour training with Andrea Peloso. (2013)

Ashtanga Immersion, 40 hours, with David Robson, at Ashtanga Yoga Toronto

Most recently, I completed a 200 hour Ashtanga Intensive with Kino MacGregor and Tim Feldmann, at their shala, the Miami Life Center, in December 2014.

My Practice

Practicing yoga for about ten years. I practice Mysore-Style Ashtanga Yoga 5 to 6 days per week. My practice, which I share with a friendly group of fellow early morning crazies, continues to bring me peace and a sense of community. Also, I have a home practice of Restorative Yoga, and I aim to get to restorative class more often in 2015.

In addition to yoga, I also run and/or do some form of weights or barre-type toning two to three times per week. And I walk. A lot.

My Teaching (Currently)

Mondays:

Yoga Basics 1: 7:45 to 9:00 PM, Breathe Yoga Studio

Yoga Basics 2: 6:15 to 7:30, Breathe Yoga Studio

Tuesdays:

Gentle Yoga: 4:45 to 6:00 PM, Breathe Yoga Studio

Saturdays:

Mysore: Grateful to be assisting my teacher, Svitlana Nalywayko, at Breathe Yoga Studio.
